Do not include sensitive personal, financial, medical, government ID, bank, card, password, or security information in listings, photos, messages, profile fields, or support requests unless we specifically ask for it through a secure channel.
GarageDeals uses location and address information to show nearby garage sales and items, calculate distance, support search and map features, provide directions, reduce irrelevant results, prevent abuse, and improve the service. This may include your device location if you allow access, searched locations, saved addresses, listing addresses, coordinates, city, state, postal code, and country code.
You can control device location permissions through your device settings. If you create a listing, the address or location you provide may remain visible or usable for that listing until you edit, deactivate, delete, or request deletion of that data, subject to retention requirements.
When you create a listing, information such as listing title, description, photos, price, availability, seller profile details, and location or address information may be visible to other users so they can discover, evaluate, message about, or navigate to the listing. Do not include personal information or exact address details in a listing unless you want other users to see or use that information.
We use information to provide, maintain, secure, personalize, and improve GarageDeals. This includes account login, listings, search, maps, messaging, favorites, notifications, payments for promotions, customer support, fraud prevention, analytics, debugging, abuse detection, legal compliance, and AI-assisted listing analysis when you choose to use that feature.
We may process messages, reports, listings, account activity, device information, IP addresses, and logs to deliver messages, send notifications, investigate reports, detect fraud or abuse, enforce our terms, protect users, debug issues, and respond to support or legal requests.
If you use AI-assisted listing features, photos and related listing details you upload may be processed by GarageDeals and AI service providers to generate suggested titles, descriptions, categories, prices, or item details. AI suggestions may be stored with your listing or analysis history so you can review and publish them.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate GarageDeals, including hosting, storage, analytics, maps, notifications, payments, email, security, support, and AI processing providers. We may also share information when required by law, to enforce our terms, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or complete business transfers.
GarageDeals may use third-party services for cloud hosting, databases, file storage, content delivery, maps, geocoding, directions, push notifications, email delivery, analytics, authentication, app stores, payment verification, and AI processing. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us, subject to their own security and privacy obligations.
GarageDeals may receive limited payment-related information from third-party processors for paid promotional features, such as product identifiers, transaction references, verification status, price, currency, and timestamps. We do not store full payment card numbers. Buyer and seller item payments or exchanges are handled directly between users unless GarageDeals explicitly provides a payment feature.
We may use, preserve, or disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, enforce our terms, protect rights and safety, prevent fraud or abuse, investigate suspicious marketplace activity, or satisfy marketplace, tax, payment, consumer protection, or app store obligations.
You can update your account information at any time. You may also request deletion of your account and associated data by following the steps on our Account Deletion page.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of certain personal information. You can contact us to submit a request. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some data may be retained where permitted or required by law.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for using caution when sharing information with other users.

GarageDeals may be available under the app store age rating for your country or region. Parents or guardians can contact us to request review or deletion of a child's information.
